ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಅಂತರ್ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟಡ್ 144 ಅಂಕೊದ ಗಳಿಕೆ; ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್, ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್, ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ, ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್, ಈಜು ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಕೊ-ಕೊ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಲೆಡ್  ಬಂಗಾರ್ದ ಪದಕ ಸೇರ್ದ್

ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ,  24.07.2026: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ (ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆ), ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್, 2025-26ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲುಡ್ ಭಾರತದ ಮಾತಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಲೆನ (ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ) ಪೈಕಿ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆದ್, ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಅಂತರ್ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ (ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ) ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟಡ್  ಪಾಲ್ ಪಡೆಯಿನ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿದ  ಪೈಕಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ 144 ಅಂಕೊಲೆನ್  ಗಳಿಸಾದ್ ಅಗ್ರಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದುಂಡ್.

ಈ ಸಾಧನೆದೊಟ್ಟುಗ್  ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್, ತಂಡ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಲು,, ರಾಕೆಟ್ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಲು, ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಲೆಡ್  ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟಡ್  ಅಗ್ರಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿತ್ತುದ್, ಪುರುಷರೆನ ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್, ಪುರುಷೆರೆನ ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್, , ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್, ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ ಕೊ-ಕೊ ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ ಈಜು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಲೆಡ್ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪದಕಲೆನ್  ಗಳಿಸಾದುಂಡ್.

ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಜಲಂಧರ್‌ ಡ್  ನಡತಿನ  ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಕೂಟಡ್  200 ಮೀ, 400 ಮೀ ಬೊಕ್ಕ 4×100 ಮೀ ರಿಲೇಟ್  ಮೂಜಿ  ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪದಕಲೆನ್  ಗೆಂದಿನ ಅಖಿಲ್ ಬನೋತ್ (ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್) ಎಡ್ಡೆ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಾಧಕೆರಾದ್  ಎತ್ತುದೆರು. ರೋಹಿತ್ ವಿ. (ಪಿಎಚ್‌.ಡಿ., ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ) ಮೇರು 41.60 ಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರ ದಕ್ಕುದು ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಎಸೆತಡ್ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪದಕ ಗೆಂದುದ್, ಕೂಟದ “ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿ ಪುರುಷ” ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗ್ ಭಾಜನರಾತೆರು.

ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ದೆಹಲಿಡ್  ನಡತಿನ  ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಕೂಟಡ್ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆದ  ಪುರುಷೆರೆನ  ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ ತಂಡ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಷಿಪ್ ಗೆಂದುದುಂಡ್.; ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಎಂ. ಮೇರು ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಆಟಗಾರ (ಎಂವಿಪಿ) ಪಡೆದೆರು. ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ರೂರ್ಕೆಲಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊ-ಕೊ  ದ ರಡ್ಡ್ ತಂಡ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪದಕ ಗೆಂದುದುಂಡ್., ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಅವ್ವೇ  ಕೂಟಡ್ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ  ಈಜು ತಂಡ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಷಿಪ್ ಗೆಂದುದಂಡ್.. ಈ ತಂಡೊನ್ ಸುವಾಲಿ ಪಿ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ದುಂಬು ಕೊನೊದಿತ್ತುದ್, ಅರೆಗ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿದ  ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಈಜುಗಾರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ತಿಕ್ಕುದುಂಡ್..

ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆದ  ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ  ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್ ತಂಡಲಾ ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿನ್  ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ್ ಗೆಂದುದುಂಡ್.; ಮನಶ್ರೀ ಮೇರು ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಆಟಗಾರ್ತಿ ಗೆಂದಿಯೆರು.

ಪುರುಷೆರೆನ  ಟೇಬಲ್ ಟೆನಿಸ್ ತಂಡಲಾ  ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಜಂಶೆಡ್‌ಪುರಡ್  ನಡತಿನ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಡ್  ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪದಕ ಗೆಂದುದುಂಡ್. ದಿಲೀಪ್ ಜಿ. ಮೇರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಆಟಗಾರ ಪಡೆದೆರು.

ಚೆಸ್ ವಿಭಾಗಡ್ , ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಜಲಂಧರ್‌ ಡ್  ನಡತಿನ ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಕೂಟಡ್  ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆದ ಪುರುಷೆರೆನ ತಂಡ ರಡ್ಡ ನೇ ತಾನೊ  ಪಡೆದುಂಡ್.; ಆರನ್ ಸಂಜು ಥಾಮಸ್ (ಆರ್ಟಿಫಿಶಿಯಲ್ ಇಂಟೆಲಿಜೆನ್ಸ್) ಸುರುತ ಬೋರ್ಡ್‌ಡ್  ಬಂಗಾರ್ ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಏಕಾಂಶ್ ಗೋಯಲ್ (ಇನ್ಫರ್ಮೇಶನ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ) ರಡ್ಡನೇ ಬೋರ್ಡ್‌ ಡ್  ಬೊಳ್ಳಿ ಪದಕ ಗೆಂದಿಯೆರು. ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್‌ ದ ವಿನಿತಾ ಎಂ. ರಾವ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೆರೆನ  ತಂಡ ಮೂಜನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದುಂಡ್.; ರಾವ್ ಮೇರು ಮೂಜನೇ ಬೋರ್ಡ್‌ ಡ್ ಬೊಳ್ಳಿ ಪದಕ ಗೆಂದಿಯೆರು.

ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ  ವಿಭಾಗಡ್ , ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ದೆಹಲಿಡ್ ನಡತಿನ ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಕೂಟಡ್ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆದ  ವೇಟ್‌ಲಿಫ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ತಂಡ ರಡ್ಡ್ ಬಂಗಾರ್  ಬೊಕ್ಕ  ಒಂಜಿ  ಕಂಚಿದ ಪದಕದೊಟ್ಟುಗ್ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಮೂಜನೇ  ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದುಂಡ್.. ಅವ್ವೇ  ಕೂಟಡ್  ಬಾಡಿಬಿಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್ ತಂಡ ಮೂಜಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ , ಒಂಜಿ ಬೊಳ್ಳಿ ಬೊಕ್ಕ ರಡ್ಡ್  ಕಂಚಿದ  ಪದಕಲೆನ್ ಗೆಂದುಂಡ್.; ಹಿತೇಶ್ ದಗರ್ ಮೇರು ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿದ “ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಫ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಸ್” ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗ್ ಭಾಜನರಾತೆರು.

ವಿಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ನಾಗ್ಪುರಡ್  ನಡತಿನ  ಎಐಐಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಕೂಟಡ್ ಪುರುಷೆರೆನ  ಹ್ಯಾಂಡ್‌ಬಾಲ್ ತಂಡ ಕಂಚಿದ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತು; ತನ್ಶಿಕ್ ಚೋಪ್ಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಎಚ್.ಆರ್. ಅರೆಗ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಲಭಿಸಾದುಂಡ್..

ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಕೆದ  ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಬೋಧಕ ವರ್ಗದಕುಲು ಈ ಋತುಟ್  ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟಡ್  ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಲ್ದಿತ್ತುದ್ , ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಜಲಂಧರ್‌ ಡ್  ನಡತಿನ  ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಅಂತರ್ ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಡ್  ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಚೆಸ್ ತಂಡ 25 ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿದ  ಪೈಕಿ 4ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದುಂಡ್.; ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ ಎಂ. (ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್) ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ (ಖರೀದಿ ವಿಭಾಗ) ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಪದಕಲೆನ್ ಗೆಂದಿಯೆರು.

NITK Surathkal Wins Overall Championship Among All NITs for 2025-26

144-point tally at the All India Inter NIT Sports Meet includes gold in athletics, badminton, kabaddi, volleyball, swimming and Kho-Kho

Surathkal, Karnataka, 24.07.2026: The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, has finished as the Overall Champion among all National Institutes of Technology in India for the academic year 2025-26, topping the All India Inter NIT (AIINIT) Sports Meet with 144 points, the highest tally recorded among the participating NITs.

The result places NITK at the top of the national standings across athletics, team sports, racquet sports, and strength disciplines, with gold-medal finishes in men’s athletics, men’s kabaddi, women’s badminton, women’s volleyball, women’s Kho-Kho, and women’s swimming.

Akhil Banoth (Mechanical Engineering) was the standout individual performer, winning three gold medals in the 200m, 400m and 4x100m relay at the AIINIT athletics meet held at NIT Jalandhar. Rohit V. (Ph.D., Physics) won gold in the hammer throw with a 41.60-metre effort and was named the “Most Powerful Man” of the meet.

NITK’s men’s kabaddi team won the AIINIT championship outright at NIT Delhi, with Veerendra M. named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The women’s volleyball and Kho-Kho teams both won gold at NIT Rourkela, and the women’s swimming team won the overall championship at the same meet, led by Suvali P. Shetty, who was named Best Swimmer of the tournament.

NITK’s women’s badminton team also won the AIINIT title outright, with Manashree named best player of the tournament.

The men’s table tennis team also won gold at the tournament held at NIT Jamshedpur, with Dilip G named best player of the event.

In chess, NITK’s men’s team finished second at AIINIT at NIT Jalandhar, with Aaron Sanju Thomas (Artificial Intelligence) winning gold on the first board and Ekansh Goel (Information Technology) winning silver on the second board. The women’s team, captained by Vinitha M. Rao (Mechanical Engineering), finished third, with Rao winning silver on the third board.

In power sports, NITK’s weightlifting team placed third overall at AIINIT at NIT Delhi with two gold and one bronze medal, and the bodybuilding team won three gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the same meet, with Hitesh Dagar crowned Champion of Champions of the tournament.

The men’s handball team won bronze at AIINIT at VNIT Nagpur, with Tanshiq Chopade and Vidyashankar H.R. named Man of the Match.

NITK staff and faculty also competed at the national level this season, with the staff chess team finishing 4th among 25 NITs at the All India Inter NIT Staff Tournament held at NIT Jalandhar; Shri Vignesh M. (Civil Engineering) and Shri Rakesh Kumar (Purchase Section) won individual board medals.
